The artist

### Sharon Maor | Musician, Creator & A Man of the Journey **“From Stillness Comes Happiness.”** Sharon Maor is a father, musician, songwriter, composer, and guitarist. A spiritual seeker and entrepreneur, he lives and creates in Mitzpe Ramon, in the heart of Israel's Negev Desert. His songs are the soundtrack of his life's journey — from traveling the world to farming and shepherding, and through love, family, and creativity. A journey of questions, searching, and insights gathered along the way, transformed into words and melodies. His debut album, *“Looking in the Mirror,”* traces his path from adolescence to fatherhood. He later created *“The Desert Speaks,”* a musical tale that evolved into a live performance. Over the years, he has collaborated with artists including Leah Shabat and Erez Lev Ari. Alongside his music, Sharon is the owner of **Or-Khan**, a desert boutique hotel, and a partner in **Sitar Boutique Hotel**, **Min Desert Patisserie**, and **Somsomiya Restaurant** in Mitzpe Ramon. **“When music comes from deep within, it reaches deep within others.”**

Lyrics

I can understand now How people travel through time How one can dream over there while being right here And how I grew, and how you grew Listen to the heavens opening up And the rainbow cheering in a burst of colors Helping us understand What is good and what is bad And how I grew, and how you grew And how we grew up together I can make out, now A ship crossing the night Cutting through waves, cutting through destiny Just yesterday, you were a fledgling, and I was a chick And how I grew, and how you grew And how we grew up together
